COLUMBUS, OHIO (TICKER) — The Columbus Crew announced Friday that they have signed defender Andrei Pacheco to a developmental contract. Financial terms were not disclosed. Pacheco fills a development roster spot made available because the Crew placed rookie midfielder Brad Evans on season-ending injured reserved. Pacheco comes to Columbus from W Connection FC of the Professional Football League of Trinidad. The 22-year-old made his Trinidad & Tobago National Team debut in August 2006.
